Risk Management - 1 Day Course
Overview

Delivering value from change initiatives in today’s complex and competitive environment poses significant challenges to managers. Inherent in any change initiative is the uncertainty of achieving the promised benefits which deliver business value. This uncertainty requires risk management as an essential component of an organisation’s change approach.

This one-day workshop aims to provide participants with a practical, process oriented approach to managing the risk and uncertainty of change initiatives. Case study exercises and simulated scenarios will provide practice in applying risk management theory, concepts, and process in realistic situations.

The emphasis is on the practical application of risk management across the change/project life cycle (i.e. from concept to achievement of business value). The workshop includes management tools and techniques that enable practitioners to plan, manage and control risks.
